I'm an aunt I'm an aunt I'm an aunt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay I as so so so excited when Sister Martino called to tell me, "Sister Davidson, you're an aunt!" It was so exciting!!!! And I'm so grateful you set that up with her so I could know. Okay but either I didn't understand everything when she told me or she didn't read me everything. But the first call was that she had recievd a short email from Ryan saying "Baby Lincoln was born.... mom and baby are fine..." that's about it. So then I started asking questions and she said "okay I'll write back and say we want details." So then the next night she called me and said it was a little more than a normal delivery so she read me your blog (I don't have permission by the way to check you're blog so THANK you for sending me a copy.) Okay so yes I was so thrilled! And then I get here this morning, and read your blogs and what the-we are so blessed. Wow. I can't believe everything that happened. I can't describe my gratitude to our Heavenly Father that Lincoln and Savanna are doing okay. I seriously am overwhelmed with emotion of how grateful I am to our Heavenly Father and how the Spirit is always talking to us when we're listening. After the first call from Sister Martino where ALL she said was "mom and baby are fine, he was born, etc." I immediately knelt down and prayed for gratitude that Jr was alive and Jr and Savanna are both okay. I had NO clue that there were so many complications, or the fact that he hadn't had a heartbeat for however minutes, or whatever. And then I just kept praying that everything would be okay, you would all be comforted, feel okay, and Jr would be alright. My testimony has been strengthened immensely of how much the Spirit is with us and how aware our Heavenly Father is of every little thing in our lives. I also immediately told all my mga kabahay that I was an aunt and I just kept telling them how happy I was he was alive. Then the next day when Sister Martino read your blog to me, I didn't fully understand everything and we were so busy after the call I didn't have time to comprehend about everything that had happened. So then this morning, while reading and understanding everything that happened-ah man... Our Heavenly Father is so kind and loving. I know He is watching out for each one of us daily and helps us in the perfect way unique for us. I also feel very strongly that  Mom was with me to share in the news when Sister Martino told me I was an aunt. I really am overflowing with emotion right now ha ha. I'm so grateful that everything is alright! I pray for Jr to continue to improve and that all will go well with his surgery.

I don't even want to talk about this week because I'm just focused right now on Lincoln ha ha. But I can say that I was baby hungry! Remember that one investigator we had who was pregnant and due about the same time as Savanna? Well she had her baby on the 17th ha ha! I got to see her baby boy (Charley Bless) and ah man I wanted to hold that baby so badly. But I guess here are some pictures ha ha. Ah man I am SO GRATEUFL right now!! ha ha ha I love being an aunt! I love Little Lincoln!!!!

ha ha I just happened to be a lot more aware of little babies and little boys this week probably because I became a freaking aunt this week!!!!!

This family has been taught by the missionaries before but a long time ago.. they have a BGD for the end of August! We pray they will feel something different this time around and take action to gain a testimony for themselves! The little boy actually looks like a little girl because he has long hair ha ha but he's still adorable.

This adorable kid fell asleep during our lesson poor kid he was so tired! and so adorable

This little boy is just over 1 and he is adorable and his hair is the BEST!

ha ha no more baby pictures ha ha but you can definantly see that I was more than aware of all the adorable kids all around me this week.

This week Tatay Amadore had his baptismal interview for his upcoming baptism on Saturday! We pray for him and he could really use all our prayers this week. He has decided to get baptized as a step of faith for him. He feels good about his baptism but he also feels nervous. We pray he will work off of the faith that he does have in order for his faith to become more strong!

Our work here is fantastic. The ward we are in is amazing and growing! We are working together more than ever before to help bring back people who have become less active and we are helping each other teach people who don't know about the greatness of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm so incredibly grateful for the restored gospel and I know with all my heart this gospel brings people happiness. It brings and binds families together, not just for now but for eternity. when trials come-and they always do-the gospel gives us strength to overcome. When we feel alone, sad, overwhelmed, stressed, nervous, etc the gospel brings up feelings of peace and comfort! When we pray, we are really talking with our Eternal Father in Heaven. He answers prayers constantly because we matter to Him and He loves us. I have learned that it is critical for us to rely on Him not only during our times of trouble and concern, but to rely on Him always. We have the promise that the Spirit will be with us always if we qualify ourselves. This week as I said earlier has been an testimony of that to me. The Spirit whispers to us always, we must be constantly listening in order to hear and follow. Like you have said, there is always help from hands seen and unseen. The veil is thinner than we always realize. It is up to us to see the help from hands unseen. It is up to us to look for and recognize. I can tell you that I know that the help we recieve from the other side is real and constant. I know that it is up to us to see and recieve that help. Ah man, I love this gospel, I love everything about it, I love our Savior, and I love our Heavenly Father. I want to hold Jr, just like you I'm sure ha ha, and at the same time I am so happy to be here and I know it is where I am suppossed to be. I love you all so much! I love our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ! We are an eternal family and we are SO blessed to be together with this gospel and Jesus Christ as our center. I love you!!!!

-Sister Davidson your FAVORITE missionary and Jr's FAVORITE aunt!!!!

more random pictures ha ha :)

ha ha we went to a baby's first birthday party (which by the way are a HUMONGUS deal here in the Philippines-this picture is evidence) and we had a roasted pig on a spiket! It was delicious! Except the skin was kind of rough and only okay.

If you notice they're about to cut the pig so they can put the apple in the mouth

 ha ha it was hilarious.

There you go! Teeth, hair, and the works... enjoy eh!?
 I saw a monkey!

I tried to get him to reach out his hand and take the leaf from me for a picture but a leaf wasn't very appetizing to him and I was too much of a baby to hold his hand for fear of he might grab it and bite me.
